IST Event 2006
Significant impact of GN2, SEEFIRE, SILK/OCCASION and Porta Optica Study projects onthe future of collaborative research in Europe was widely discussed during IST Event 2006 Networking Session Initiative for successful dark fiber-based research networksdeployment in Eastern Europe in Helsinki. Postage stamp with Porta Optica Study logo
IMCS-UL (Latvia) arranged printing of a postage stamp with Porta Optica Study logo. It is a real stamp, issued by the Latvian Post, and it is a legal mean of payment, though it will not be sold in post offices. It will be used by IMCS for Porta Optica Study related correspondence to promote the project and the ideas behind it.
